Mobile Text Alerts is an online text service that also comes with a "loyalty rewards" feature you can use to help keep track of customer purchases and send them notifications about rewards!
If you go to the Loyalty Rewards page on your control panel you will see a list of all your text subscribers as well as customers that have been added to the loyalty rewards:
Setting Up Your Loyalty Rewards
You can customize a digital loyalty card by clicking the "Loyalty Card" button toward the top of the page.
From here you can set up various aspects of your loyalty card from this section, and you can also designate how many purchases need to be made or dollars spent for each customer to receive a reward.
You can then send the link for your loyalty card to customers to have them sign up and track rewards. (You can view this link under the "Your Customers" section above the table of names.)
The "Settings" button on the Loyalty Rewards page will allow you to edit some options regarding your rewards.
From here you will be able to select whether or not you want people to be automatically notified when a purchase is added for them, as well as if you want the system to track number of purchases or amount of money spent.
Managing Rewards Manually
You can add or remove purchases/rewards from one of your customers by selecting their entry in the "Your Customers" table to highlight that entry. It will then show an option for you to add purchases and add redeemed rewards.
Once you've enter the number of purchases/rewards you want to add, click Update and their entry will be updated to reflect your changes. (Note that you can also put in a negative number to remove purchases/rewards.)
If you want to merge 2 entries, you can hold Ctrl/Command to select the 2 entries and click the "Merge Email/Phone Records" button that appears toward the top of the screen.
Additional Options for LuLaRoe
If you are with LuLaRoe you have a couple more options for adding rewards.
Import Orders from Bless
You can import a list of orders over a specified timeframe from Bless by following these steps:
Login to your BLESS account.
Go to your ‘Complete Orders’ page.
Choose the date range you would like to export orders for. Mobile Text Alerts will ignore orders you have already imported, so you don’t need to worry about importing duplicate orders.
After choosing your date range, click the ‘CSV’ button to download a spreadsheet of the orders.
Click the ‘Import BLESS Orders’ button to be taken to the BLESS orders import page.
Upload the spreadsheet of orders that you exported from BLESS.
Mobile Text Alerts will add the appropriate rewards from your BLESS orders and give you a summary.
Track Purchases by Forwarding Order Receipts from Bless
You can forward your customers’ order confirmation emails to have their purchases automatically added.
All you have to do to get it set up is go to your Loyalty Rewards page on your control panel and select the "Forward Order Emails" button. Enter your LuLaRoe merchant ID and click "Save" (note that this would be the ID that shows up in the Order Confirmation emails, not your normal retailer ID).
(From here you can also select whether or not you want discounted items included in the purchase count toward the rewards.)
Once your merchant ID is saved, whenever you get emailed a copy of your customer’s purchase confirmation, you can forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org. The system will detect your customer’s email address from the message and will add the purchases to their loyalty rewards count. (You’ll just want to make sure that your customer’s email address is included somewhere in the forwarded email; most email apps and sites should have it automatically included in the header of the forwarded message.)
- However, it is important to note that cash transactions may not include the Merchant ID in the Purchase Receipt email, so for cash transactions you will need to manually copy/paste the Merchant ID into the forwarded email. These cannot currently be automated.
If you want to completely automate things, you will need to set up a email@example.com as a forwarding address and create a filter for your receipt emails to be forwarded to that address automatically. Here are instructions for how to do that in Gmail:
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Go to Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
Step 3: Click “Add a Forwarding Address” and add firstname.lastname@example.org. Note that once you set up emails to forward to email@example.com, you will need to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and request a confirmation on our end in order for the change to fully process.
Step 4: Paste “from:(email@example.com) subject:(“my lularoe order” OR “purchase receipt from lularoe”)” into the Gmail search bar and click the down arrow on the right.
Step 5: Then click “Create Filter With This Search.”
Step 6: On the next screen, check the “Forward it to:” checkbox and select firstname.lastname@example.org from the dropdown, then click “Create Filter.” Any new emails from email@example.com with "My LuLaRoe Order Number" or "Purchase Receipt from LuLaRoe" in the subject line should be automatically forwarded to firstname.lastname@example.org for reward tracking.
